The size of the sea cucumbers is not an indication of the quality of the sea cucumbers, as it depends on firstly the species of the sea cucumbers, secondly if the sea cucumbers are wild/natural or cultivated, and thirdly the drying process.

In general, wild/natural sea cucumbers are smaller in size and if chemicals, sugar and/or more salt are added in the drying process, these will also make the sea cucumbers bigger.
